I recently visited Nashville as I’ve always had it on my bucket list. What’s not to love about great southern food, friendly people, and live music? Even though I had never been to Nashville before, I knew I would love this city! That’s why I chose to stay at Hyatt House Nashville Airport. If you’re looking for hotels closest to the Nashville airport, read on!

Table of Contents
Hyatt House Nashville Airport is a convenient hotel located less than10 miles away from the Nashville City Center, its also one of the only Nashville airport hotels with free parking. The hotel recently opened in February 2021 with four stories and over 100 rooms of updated furnishings, practical amenities like free wifi, a fully stocked bar, a state-of-the-art gym, and much more!
Immediately when you pull up to the hotel you’re greeted by their friendly staff and ample decorations. I visited during Halloween weekend and they went all out! Every table and chair was decorated with pumpkins galore and truly brought the spirit of Halloween to the space, I loved it! To the left of the lobby there was space for eating and drinking by the elegant H Bar and to the right was a working space for all of your office needs. The staff ensured a smooth and effortless check-in after explaining the wide variety of amenities available at the hotel.
There are 4 floors and 128 rooms at the hotel, and all of the amenities are on the first floor of the lobby. On the first floor, you’ll find the pool, breakfast room, coffee bar, H Bar and Restaurant, gym, and outdoor area (more on the amenities later on in this post).
The hotel itself is about 10 miles away from all of the action Nashville has to offer, and I found the location to be perfect. I personally hate waking up to loud noises, smog, and trash from last night’s festivities, which is why I specifically chose to stay OUTSIDE the city center. I primarily travel solo, so safety is my ultimate concern. When I stay a little out of the way it ensures I can go straight from my ride to my hotel room with ease. During my stay I paid on average $12-$15 one way on transportation, which is standard for the area, the ride was no longer than 15 minutes and seamless! While there is public transportation in Nashville, it is not convenient for tourists and I cannot recommend it.
I stayed in the One Bedroom Suite and it had a lot to offer with a king bed, a Cozy Corner with sofa-sleeper, separate living area, work desk, and a full kitchen. Let me tell you, every corner of this hotel was meticulously clean, every part of it! The kitchen came fully stocked with dishes, cutlery, and coffee/tea. My favorite part of the room was the USB ports and plugins located in the breakfast bar, this was super convenient during my workcation (a vacation where you work for a portion of the time). There also was a huge couch and coffee table area, so this suite could fit multiple people easily. As you turn the corner you are invited to the bedroom which also has a TV, and across from it was the bathroom. For my makeup lovers, you’ll be happy to know that this hotel has an LED Light Mirror, so you have great lighting to perfect your look.
How To Get Here and Where to Park
The Hyatt House Nashville Airport caters to travelers with their shuttle service conveniently located at the BNA Airport. At the time of my visit the shuttle was under maintenance, but don’t worry they still have you covered! I called the concierge and they sent me a taxi that dropped me off at the hotel free of charge. I also was told that you can call your own transportation and they will reimburse you for the cost.
In regards to parking, this is another one of the great benefits of staying at this hotel, because parking is free! If you were to stay at a hotel downtown you could easily spend up to $200 for a weekend in parking fees alone! During my stay I saw ample spots for parking and no need to fight over a spot, they have room for you.
On Site Food and Beverage
The hotel has premium dining options with their rotating breakfast menu featuring hot breakfast items, fresh fruit, steel-cut oatmeal, Greek yogurt, and more. The best part is that the breakfast is free! I thoroughly enjoyed waking up in the morning to a hot meal, and breakfast closes at 10 am. You can enjoy your meal in the lobby, in your room, or outside on the patio near the beautiful fire pit.
For other meal options, they have the H Bar, where you can get premium cocktails, wine, and beer, as well as appetizers on the Sip & Snack menu available until 10 pm. The drinks are yummy and strong so drink up and enjoy! There also is the H market, available 24/7 right next to the Check-In desk. Here you will find freshly prepared meals, grab-and-go snacks, and groceries that you can prepare in your kitchen upstairs. Isn’t that nice?
Amenities
If you need to squeeze in a quick workout make sure to check out the gym, it has a great view of the pool and is filled with all of the latest equipment. The gym also had water, towels, and cleaning equipment for anything you might need. Make sure to pack your swimsuit so you can take advantage of the heated indoor pool! The pool was spacious and had tons of room to lounge and relax, great for anyone that wants a change of scenery while working remotely.
Overall I highly recommend the Hyatt House Nashville Airport to anyone visiting Nashville. The staff is friendly, the hotel is brand new, the amenities are top-notch and the price is affordable. At 8,000 Hyatt points a night it is a great option for those that use points to book. The prices are also affordable and start from around $150 a night.
