How to Visit Bora Bora Beach Club

Bora Bora Beach Club Cartagena is a private beach club about 20 minutes away from Cartagena on Isla Grande. They offer beautiful sun loungers, food service, round-trip transportation, and ultimate relaxation. The Bora Bora team is very professional from beginning to end. I felt safe as a solo female traveler in Cartagena during my visit. I arrived at the port around 8 am and we got on the speed boat. The ride was scenic and relaxing, everyone wore masks and safety was a priority.

From there you are greeted with a yummy welcome drink and taken to your bed for the day. I booked my visit directly here . Prices range from as lows as 50,000 COP to about 200,000 COP per person ($13 to $90 USD). I wanted a luxurious experience so I opted for the VIP Package at the top of the range. This included an uninterrupted view of the beach, premium service, and a quieter area.

Another thing to mention is that all of the food (outside of lunch) and drinks are separate and prices are a bit expensive for Colombia. On average the drinks were $10-$15 and the food was about the same.

Then it’s time to relax! There are limited activities available such as kayaking and massages, but honestly, I didn’t bother. This beach club is best for those that want to recharge, as there is no wifi or cell service. Make sure to bring activities to keep you occupied. At 3 pm its time to head back, and that was the end of my trip to Bora Bora! I highly recommend this experience when visiting Cartagena.
